The support from the local community has proven that small business can thrive in today's competitive landscape. We consider ourselves very fortunate and are very grateful for the continued success. At M&M Products we have always strived to do what we can for those around us in the community. This holds especially true during these uncertain times.
Thank you very much to the Waterdown BIA for visting us and sharing our story.
Adam Neumann of the Waterdown BIA:
Yesterday it was our honour to join Ward Misner - proud owner of M&M Products Quality Home Appliances Inc., as he saw months of hard work for local charity come to fruition.
Just after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic Ward thought, NOW is the time people need help, and NOW is the time to take action. He began reaching out to some of his suppliers for support for the community, and after some persistence, they have come through.
Ward was overjoyed to present cheques from Danby and Whirlpool totalling $700 to Jim Leaman at the Flamborough Food Bank, Lena Aggus from Food With Grace - Waterdown Food Bank, and Chaplain Roger Boyd of Men's Street Ministry. He also presented the stellar Napoleon BBQ pictured here to Roger, who feeds over 1500 people per week on the streets of Hamilton and surrounding area.
Earlier this year in the summer Ward also quickly coordinated a palette with $200 of water for the Men’s Street Ministry when they were in need. He found a sliding door coca-cola fridge for the Flamborough Food Bank, along with other refrigerators for the food banks, which Margaret Robinson of Rotary Club of Flamborough AM assisted with purchasing.
These food-based charity organizations are so thankful for the help with these essential products for their programming.
Wow Ward - Way To Go! When someone in need reaches out, Ward answers! Amazing to see local small business provide such BIG support!
